To detect sarcosine, a well-known prostate cancer biomarker, a biorecognition element is produced in situ by the method of molecular imprinting. In a dye-sensitized solar cell (DSSC), the biosensor's assembly on the counter-electrode was achieved through the concurrent use of EDOT and Pyrrole as monomers for the biomimetic process and the catalytic reduction of triiodide. The hybrid DSSC/biosensor, following the rebinding assays, displayed a linear behavior when plotting power conversion efficiency (PCE) and charge transfer resistance (RCT) against the log of the sarcosine concentration. The later experiments established a sensitivity of 0.468 per decade of sarcosine concentration, with a linear range extending from 1 ng/mL to 10 g/mL and a limit of detection of 0.32 ng/mL. Amidst the COVID-19 healthcare crisis, BSc Radiography students in their third and fourth years in Ireland authored reflective essays about their clinical placement experiences. One hundred and eight radiography student and recent graduates gave their agreement for the analysis of their reflections, as part of the study. A thematic strategy was implemented for data analysis, allowing the identification of themes within the reflective essays. For each reflective essay, two researchers independently employed the Braun and Clarke model for coding.

With the escalation of student enrollment and workload demands prompted by the COVID-19 pandemic, health student preparation programs have recently undergone a shift towards curriculum modifications and the replacement of clinical placement time with alternative educational activities. A narrative review aimed to investigate the existing evidence base concerning educational activities in Medical Radiation Sciences (MRS), utilized to substitute or partially replace clinical placements. To identify relevant articles published between 2017 and 2022, searches were conducted across the Medline, CINAHL, and Web of Science databases.
